About us

The Sécher am Internet platform was developed and implemented by nine students from the Luxembourg Tech School (LTS): Eva Hegazy, Hannah Toussaint, Tim Loewen, Sara Vaccino, Sam Hornick, Edgar Marx, Bent Schütz, Alyssa Ventura and Lörinc Zakar. They were supported by LTS coaches Isman Fromes, Sara Kaiser and Julie Tangeten.
The project was initiated by an LTS FinTech Hackathon, which took place at the beginning of July 2021. There, 25 young participants from the Luxembourg Tech School developed exciting ideas to make it easier for the older generation to access the digital world and technical offerings.
The winning project CyberLearn by Tim Loewen, Bar Holzapfel-Mantin and Anton Navez convinced the jury with the idea of a learning app on the subject of cybersecurity and online banking.
From this idea and as part of the national training program Ech kann dat och on the subject of online banking, the project Sécher am Internet was born on behalf of the Fondation ABBL pour l’Education Financière
Content
Texts, videos, graphics and exercises were designed, written, programmed and produced by the young LTS students. The thematic basis for some chapters was the Handbook Online Banking Made Easy, which Hülya Atasoy and Alex Greenwood wrote as an accompanying document to the course Ech kann dat och.
